Competitions include Hunter/Jumper shows, Eventing through Intermediate/Preliminary level, and Dressage through Fourth Level. Her favorite show experience is riding a long format Preliminary Three-day Event placing 3rd on her mare, Roxy, who she started herself as a 3-year-old.

Kelly’s teaching career began in 1999 when she managed the farm’s summer riding camp for the first time. Since then, she teaches lessons to riders of all ages ranging from beginners to weekly devotees to serious competitors. Kelly especially enjoys encouraging and watching the bonds that form over time between horses and riders. In addition to teaching, she is a coach for the UK Equestrian Team, rides sale horses and horses in training, and does the bookkeeping for Redmond Equestrian.
